Bulworthy Project is an experiment in low-impact living and working supported by producing charcoal and providing courses and events.

We believe that work and pleasure should not be seperated, that everyone should do something for a living that they are proud of and enjoy and that a sustainable life working in partnership with nature is more enjoyable than a life in conflict with nature.

We produce high quality charcoal for barbecues and smoking food as well as artists charcoal through the sustainable management of the woodland where we live and others nearby.

The courses we provide are intended to inspire and entertain as well as educate.

We work closely with the local community and provide a forest school facility for our local primary school.  This allows the children to learn outside the classroom and helps them to develop life skills such as teamwork and managing risk.

The project is always developing.
