Coppice products are a by-product of cutting material annually for hedging stakes. I was asked to manufacture various items for a Catherine Cookson film and this stimulated further production of traditional coppice craft artefacts. I do displays and demonstrations where I am frequently asked to supply wattle hurdles but I do not have a sufficient supply of good quality hazel to oblige.
Apart from training and demonstrations I do not have the time or the inclination to make a living from making and selling coppice craft products, other than as a sideline.
