I have a mobile sawmill for hire, a Lucas Mill , a very versatile machine which is able to reach logs which other sawmills cannot reach, or which cannot be moved. It handles logs up to 26 ‘ long by 5’6” diameter. It is both fast and accurate.
I supply sawn timber, mostly hardwoods ( oak, ash, walnut, chestnut, cherry and others depending on availability) for timber framing, furniture etc. I manage coppiced woodland, having access to chestnut and hazel. My furniture designs include a glass-topped, oak-stump based table. See the website for details and photos.
