I sell hazel, ash and willow poles, whips, peasticks etc. from my woodland on Hinksey Hill, which has a beautiful view of Oxford. Lot 3 won first prize in the Royal Forestry Society’s excellence in forestry awards for small woodlands 2019. Come and have a look around, and buy some sticks!
£1.25 per hazel bean pole, post, or binder, or £11.50 for ten; £6 for 20 hazel peasticks. Much cheaper if you want these in willow, though I can’t recommend it! Please contact me if you have other hazel stick requirements.
One third off for people who help to coppice.
I’m also looking for one Oxford-based person to run a fourth “wood allotment” (I already have three) at my woodland. This involves £50/year rent in return for learning about woodland management, being able to cut trees that I have marked out, and using the allotment in other (agreed) ways.
