Products
Based in Mylor parish working woods on the Enys and Trefusis estates as well as the historically important Devichoys wood, I offer a wide range of products crafted from local, sustainably harvested wood. I carry out a ‘tree to chair’ policy; sourcing all material from woods which I manage myself.
From large commissioned work such as oak framed rose arches and post & rail fencing to items sold from shops and stalls like pole lathe turned spoons and locally grown charcoal, I ensure all my products have minimum timber miles and are made to last many years.
Commissions are very welcome and I am happy to discuss any ideas or projects clients may have even if you are unsure of the possibilities coppice grown wood offers. Most of my products are made to order allowing me to make each order to the clients exact specifications.
Services
During the winter, I undertake a range of woodland services including Hedgelaying, Orchard pruning and woodland planting, as well as being the season I coppice the woods I manage and undertake contract woodland management. All management is carried out to ensure the environment, local wildlife and the trees themselves are improved by the works.
Courses
I also run a number of courses throughout the year including: Spoon and Spatula making, Home charcoal making and Hedgelaying. See my website for dates and prices.
